By Captain [John] Braithwaite
London: J. Darby and T. Browne in Bartholomew Close, 1729. Large 8vo.; in speckled sheep with raised bands and quite darkened decorations in gilt; viii, [16], 381, [1] page; with folding map.~~Capt. Braithwaite is described as having "accompany'd John Russel Esq; his Majesty's Consul-General into those Parts, and was an Eye-witness to the most remarkable Occurrences therein mentioned." The map of the country was "engraven by Mr. Senex".~~This copy with some worming; the first 8 or so leaves have loss to the bottom corner (seemingly from some varmint long ago) not affecting any text.~~Not a bad copy overall, with a lovely map of the Kingdoms of Fez, Morocco.
