A later effort by comic book writer and artist Bob Kane, best known for co-creating the DC Comics character Batman alongside artist Bill Finger. In his later career Kane turned to screenwriting and film work, serving as a consultant on Tim Burton's 1989 adaptation "Batman" and its three sequels.
