London: W.S. Orr & Co, 1838. 1/4 leather. Very Good. Phiz. The 1838 Ist edition, with "twenty-four humorous illustrations by Phiz". Solid and VG in its 1/4 dark-green morocco over marbled boards (bound by T. Catherall of Chester), with light rubbing and scuffing at the panels and just a bit of mild, intermittent foxing at the text. Octavo, 2 bookplates to the front pastedown, including that of "William Morris", presumably the renowned British designer, poet and artist (1834-1896.
