Boards have significant shelf wear with tearing to the cloth, exposing the board underneath, bumping to corners, some rubbing, and minor staining. Head edge is gilded. Text block has book plate with marker "redactions" on the front and back paste down, a blue "806" stamp to the bottom of the title page, some tearing and staining to the brown end papers, age toning and light foxing throughout, and the hinges have cracking.
