Marriage Valentine with Embossed Paper, Victorian Scrap, Housed in Original Envelope Postmarked for Valentine's Day

United States, 1850. Very good. Some toning, light spotting/dust soiling.. An attractive Valentine featuring delicate embossed paper, yellow coloring, and a large scrap in the central oval depicting a couple on their wedding day. Also features a bright red and gold scrap depicting an arrow piercing a heart. Housed in the original lithographed envelope addressed in ink manuscript to Mr. Nathan D. Spear of West Randolph, Vermont, and postmarked in the month of February (year illegible, sadly). Both measure 7.5" by 4.75
