(color/B&W photographs, graphics) Most of this issue is devoted to the spectacular art museum, designed by Frank Gehry, that opened in Bilbao in October of that year. Includes an interview with Gehry himself, and also a piece in which "artists Jenny Holzer and Richard Serra ponder the challenges and opportunities of siting work in the complex spaces" of the new museum. There are also a couple of features about the Basque Country, in which Bilbao is located, including an "alphabetical tour" of the region by novelist Bernardo Atxaga. .
