Vol. 16, Nos. 26, 35, 38, and 40 of "Dew Drops", a charming illustrated children's newspaper issued weekly in the late 19th century and well into the early 20th century. These issues were published in June 1893, and each start with a humorous or winsome story: "Grandma's Story"; "Coaxing Kitty"; "In Mischief"; and "A Rat". Also included are lines of verse, moralistic lessons on subjects like the dangers of exaggerating, and amusing word and image games (as in issue no. 26). Also warns about the dangers of strong drink, pride, etc.

Four (4) bifolia measuring 12" by 8.25", illustrated. Early ink signature of John F. Zerbey Jr. to head of each issue.
