Boards have bumping and rubbing to corners exposing boards, heavy splitting to front joint, , fraying to spine edges, and moderate edge wear and shelf wear. Textblock has owner's inscription on front endpaper, front endpaper partially detached at gutter, partial splitting to both interior hinges, and pages 407 to 419 sticking out from textblock. Portrait Frontispiece in state 2 with underlying lines slanted and Publisher's imprint in lower left. Frontispiece in 2nd State with "Titian's Moses" caption.
