First published in 1675, this work discusses the ontological argument for God's existence, and mentions the development of the microscope. Author John Wilkins co-founded the Royal Society, and is best known for his advocacy of a universal language and system of measurement in his 1668 An Essay Towards a Real Character and a Philosophical Language. This edition, published posthumously, includes William Lloyd's sermon, which was preached at Wilkins's funeral in 1673.
