A signed, laid-in letter from the editor of the Children's Book department at World Publishing Co. confirming the presentation. A clean, very sharp copy to boot: Tight and Near Fine in its 3/4 light-brown leather over marbled boards, with raised bands and gilt-tooling within the compartments. A bit of light creasing at the verso of the front free endpaper, otherwise clean as could be. Octavo, nicely illustrated throughout by Lorence Bjorklund.
