Spine is brown with gold print on black banners, owner name printed at bottom. Boards half bound with brown leather to spine and corners and marbled paper to boards. Light wear to spine caps, wear to corners and edges, rubbing to paper. Text block has a cracked front hinge, light foxing throughout especially to plates. Illustrated: b&w plates (engravings with tissue guards), some plates printed on yellow paper, folded color map.
