Boards half bound with brown leather to spine and corners and marbled paper to boards. Light wear to spine caps, cracking to leather on spine, corners and edges worn and bare, rubbing to paper. Text block has name in ink on front flyleaf, cracked hinges, mild foxing throughout especially to plates. Illustrated: color frontispiece to first issue, b&w plates (engravings with tissue guards), some plates printed on yellow or green paper.
