Paperback, 8vo, orange and black covers, 48 pp. Book shop stamp on bottom of back cover, normal aging, even though this edition was made inexpensively it is in very good condition. Originally published by Wright in 1938. the story is about an elderly black woman, named Sue, and her sons, who are community organizers in the South during the 1920s. The story documents her courage against a background of brutality and rabid racism.
