With tissue guard, tissue overlay, and cover sheet (formerly attached using a glued flap; the glue has failed). Light exterior tanning and soil from usage in production, the image is bright and fine. Signed "Sam'l H. Bryant," and with his address label on the verso. The cover is titled in manuscript: "Endpaper Map. Bangkok. Waugh," and beneath the map is written: "Endpaper Map. Bangkok. Waugh. 1 Color.. Original map art for the endleaves of the first American edition. A handsome original map of downtown Bangkok (scale approximately 3" : 1 mile) with a nicely rendered map of Thailand in the bottom left corner.
