By Ernest Hemingway
New York: harles Scribner's Sons, 1937. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good +. A very presentable, above-average copy of the 1937 true 1st edition (with the letter 'A' and the Scribner seal to the copyright pg., and the 1937 date at both the title and copyright pages). Tight and VG, with light offsetting along the inner hinges and pastedowns, and a tender (but still perfectly sturdy) rear hinge. And in a bright, price-intact ($2.50), VG+ dustjacket, with just a bit of light chipping (much less than one often encounters) at the front panel's upper tip and along the spine crown. Octavo, one of Hemingway's legendary movie tie-ins and his 9th published work.
