Bound in full contemporary calf with gilt ruling and black leather label to spine; edges sprayed. Light general wear and dust-soiling to boards, with scuffing down spine and dulling to gilt. Binding is sound. Recent ownership stamp to front pastedown; edges of endpapers toned; interior else mildly toned but unmarked and legible throughout. A Very Good or better copy of the earliest issues of the "New Series;" scarce in retail.
