Limited edition, one of 200, this copy not numbered, printed in Garamond on Hollande paper. Six original eaux-fortes (etchings) by Alexeieff. The latter a Russian Empire-born artist, and illustrator who lived and worked mainly in Paris. Laid-in a facial portrait of Alexeieff. The author, Alexander Pushkin is considered the greatest Russian poet. He was born into the Russian nobility -- dead at age 37 in a duel. As new copy in original glassine.
