In the illustrated dust jacket, with several trivial moisture stains to the spine, light soiling to the rear panel, and a few insignificant chips to the edges. The author's sixth and most famous novel and his eleventh book. The first printing of the tenth anniversary edition. Includes eleven full page and thirty chapter head illustrations by the incomparable R. Crumb. This copy is signed by Abbey on the tipped-in illustrated page preceding the half title (page has a handful of small light stains).
