A reproduction of a lecture given by Gerald R. Ford, 38th American president, at the English Speaking Union (an educational charity dedicated to public speaking) based in London on November 30th, 1983 for their annual Churchill Lecture and bestowment of a medal of honor. Winston Churchill had served as the chairman for the ESU from 1921-25 and this annual lecture was given in his memory. Ford took his brief to heart and made continual references to Churchill throughout his speech. An interesting and semi-autobiographic look at a political leader's reflection on another major player in 20th century politics. Fine.
