A 1940 post card reproducing a mural by the illustrator John Groth at Cafe Society, Sheriden Square in New York, and promoting the premiere of Teddy Wilson's New Band on July 2nd. Stamped and postmarked, hand-addressed in ink manuscript. Postmark promotes the 1939-1940 World's Fair in New York. Mural depicts a cross section of a man and a woman's brain, with horse racing and drinking on the woman's mind, and women and drinking on the man's mind. Measures approx. 3.5" by 5.5
