Red cloth stamped in gilt; gold endpaper. Staining and red discoloration to Volume I dust jacket along top edge of front and rear panels and spine; spotting to spine verso of Volume II; both jackets rubbed along edges. Boards shelfworn with mild spotting and dust soiling;Volume II with a bit of separation, stiffening, and rippling to spine. Bindings sound. Patch of dampstaining along top edge of text block near spine of volume I, and barely encroaching to pages along gutter of final 20 pages. Overall Very Good, though lacking the third volume.
