By BEATTIE, Ann
New York: Random House, 1978. Stated First Edition. Octavo. 21.5cm. Publisher's black cloth spine over pale pink paper covered boards, titled and decorated in pink gilt to spine and front board. Dustjacket. 307pp. Light wear to extremities, a pretty well read copy with some thumbmarks and grubbyness here and there, some light sunning to the edges of the boards, in a dustjacket with some wear and chipping to the spine ends, sunning, and a couple of pinholes. Internally clean. About very good mainly by dint of being strong, solid, and the association, but normally it would just be a good copy. Inscribed by the author to the front flyleaf:
"For Donald, Some secrets, now exposed. With Best Wishes, Anne Beattie, Richmond, 1991"
The author's third book, from the library of Donald McCaig, noted author and poet, with his address stamp to the upper corner of the front flyleaf. 81376.
