Bound in full red leather with elaborate gold tooling to spine, boards, board edges, and turn ins. Split starting at lower front joint. Moderate rubbing to edges and corners of boards, head and tail of spine, and joints; light rubbing to boards overall. Front hinge split such that front board and spine are attached to text block only at rear hinge. All edges of text block gilt. Text block shows light plus age toning and scattered foxing.
