A handsome set, both volumes professionally re-backed in an elegant dark-brown by the Currier Bindery of Newport, Rhode Island, while maintaining the publisher's oriinal calf boards. Solid, tight and VG, with very mild soiling/streaking along the fore-edges, very mild abrading and ceasing along the spines. A bit of light, frgiveable foxing, otherwise very clean internally.
