Printed for Henry Colburn of London, "published from the originals by Benjamin Franklin's grandson, William Temple Franklin". A handsome set, both volumes professionally re-backed in an elegant dark-brown by the Currier Bindery of Newport, Rhode Island, while maintaining the publisher's oriinal calf boards. Solid, tight and VG, with very mild soiling/streaking along the fore-edges, very mild abrading and ceasing along the spines. A bit of light, frgiveable foxing, otherwise very clean internally. Octavos, fold-out frontispiece to Vol. I.
