London: Constable, 1933. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good -. The 1933 1st edition of this early title by the great wine author and merchant Andre Simon (1877-1970). Tight and VG (light offsetting and foxing at the endsheets and pastedowns, light foxing to the text) in a bright, price-clipped, VG- dustjacket, with creasing at the front panel, several small closed tears --and very light chipping-- along the front flap-fold and the spine crown, and mild soiling to the rear panel. Clearly shows its age but remains presentable.
