Therefore, I have included many details in which only members of the family would have interest. I have omitted extraneous matter where it did not seem to bear on their characters or interests." (The subjects are the author's parents, who lived most of their adult lives in Philadelphia.) The book has a stated limitation of 300 copies, but this copy is un-numbered. .
