Octavo (19.5 cm), [iv], 166pp. Publisher's cream dust jacket with black printing and price on spine ($1.60). Boards quarter bound in gray paper and gray-green cloth with gilt stamping on the spine. Dust jacket discolored on front, spine, and back with loss to the head of the spine and some loss to the tail. Some loss to joints and edges with a few tears and creasing. Boards have no visible soiling but head and tail of spine show some. Head and tail also bumped, with some separation on the inside of the spine from the board block. Binding slightly shaky but square. Some light soiling on top- and fore-edge and a small dent in the top-edge. Front pasted endsheet includes previous owner inscription (Folkers/ Xmas 1919). Foxing and toning to endpapers with small bookseller's ticket of H.S. Nichols (New York) on rear pastedown. Some separation between signatures within the pages; pages remain relatively clean.
