Full calf, with banded spine, gilt tooling to boards and spine, and gilt-lettered brown leather spine label. Boards show significant wear and bumping to corners, splitting to leather along joints, and moderate wear overall. Text block has several minot instances of light staining to speckled edges, and ink ownership inscription to front pastedown (dated 1949). Frontispieces preface both publications. First Bentley editions.
