A finely produced 12mo valentien made from lace paper, Victorian scrap, a chromolithographed illustration, and a lithographed poem inside titled "Love": "My love unchanging Still will be, Though friends Depart and fortune flee". The lace paper has been embossed and die-cut in the shape of a classical shield, with a window revealing the illustration, which depicts a family hunting a wolf. Measures approx. 4.25" by 3
