Cosi Fan Tutti, first performed on 26 January 1790 at the Burgtheater in Vienna, Austria. The libretto was written by Lorenzo Da Ponte who also wrote Le nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni. Mr. Wolfensohn grew up loving symphonies and participating in operettas at school. Later in life, he learned to play the cello from world-renowned cellist Jacqueline Du Pre, and performed at Carnegie Hall on his 50th, 60th and 70th birthdays, including performances alongside YoYo Ma and Bono.
