Reudnitz, Germany: Druck der Kunstanstalt von Vezel & Naumann, 1890. Very good. Minor toning, dust soiling. Two small areas of missing surface litho verso.. An attractive chromolithographed advertising card for "Strick-Phantasie und Häkelgarne" (Knitting fantasy and crochet yarns), featuring "Schwanen-Zephyr, Moos, Gobelin" (soft "Swan"-like cotton, moss, and tapestry) fibers. The illustration shows a swan serenely gliding across a pond; to the left, a large industrial spinning machine processes fibers, and on the right, a large room of workers dye the resulting yarns or thread. The verso advertises their embroidery flosses and threads, and features a calendar for the year.
