This poem, My Orcha'd in Linden Lea

This poem was written in 1859 by William Barnes, who was a multitalented poet and autodidact who is particularly well known for this work, which is written in his version of a Dorset dialect. Bound in light gray paper covers with the title in black on front cover. Printed on Battersea paper with the titling typeface of Bembo. The poem is set in Garamond with the translation using Fairbank italic. The title page has a beautiful image of an apple blossom, printed from an original engraving by Helen Moss. In fine condition.
