By Kajiwara Kotoken, Kajiwara Fukumatsu
Fukuoka City, Japan: Kajiwara Kotojo Company, 1989. Cloth. Near Fine. A tight, very presentable copy of the 1989 1st edition. Solid and Near Fine in its navy-blue cloth, with bright gilt-titling along the spine. Thick, dense folio, hundreds of crisp black-and-white illustrations (with a small number in color), each generously captioned. Text exclusively in Japanese, with not a stitch of English to be found. Also includes a very sharp example of the publisher's printed card slipcase. Deep, very impressive dive into the fine, almost religious-like art of Japanese swordmaking.
