Six Reely-Trooly Dolls
- Boston, Massachusetts: Reely-Trooly Co, 1915
Boston, Massachusetts: Reely-Trooly Co, 1915. Very good. Cut, with some light dust soiling or spotting. A scarce cut set of "Six Reely-Trooly Dolls", a do-it-yourself style of paper doll that children could make themselves by cutting real cloth templates for the outfits. Markets itself as a durable set of "Dolls that educate and amuse because the children make them". This set includes five of the six required 8.5" dolls (Dorothy, Ruth, Virginia, Helen and Myra are present, while Betty is missing), and has three additional variations (for Ruth, Dorothy, and Virginia). Each doll consists of a cut cloth outfit with printed limbs, a head, legs and a thick card strip in the back to help them stand up. Includes printed directions on the back of the card box lid, which measures approx. 10.5" by 6.5
