With subtle sunning to the backstrip, light soiling to the front board, and a handful of tape stains on the endpapers. Includes photographic representations of social activist and Idaho folk singer Rosalie Sorrels (p. 156), Van Morrison (p. 157), and Pete Seeger (p. 158). Rosalie moved to Salt Lake City with her husband, Jim Sorrels. Ross Altman writes, in his article for folkworks.org titled "Remembering Rosalie Sorrels," "They started a family in the 1950s, and, according to folklorist Polly Stewart, interviewed by the author in 2011 at USC, they moved to Salt Lake City in 1958 and became a part of the folk music burgeoning community- indeed along with Bruce Phillips [Utah Phillips]- they became its leaders.
