Small octavo (19cm); 119pp. Illustrated dust jacket with $3.95 price intact; boards in orange cloth with black lettering to spine. Jacket shows a few shallow closed tears along edges, with a small paperclip indentation at top front and general smudging to surface. Boards are square with a decent bump at tail and some light thumbprinting to cloth. Binding is sound and pages unmarked.

First American Edition of the author's second novel, published a year prior in the UK, for which she won the 1967 Guardian Fiction Prize.
