  • London: Heinemann, 1933
By TOMLINSON, H.M.
London: Heinemann, 1933. First U.K. Edition. Octavo. 19cm. Publisher's royal blue cloth titled in gilt to the spine. Dustjacket. 279pp. Clean and sharp, a little wear and discoloration to the spine ends, a handsome copy in a bright, strong dustjacket with some light soiling of the white areas and a little incidental wear and shallow chipping to the edges, also some slight splash marks to the verso of the jacket. A very good, handsome copy. Internally clean, slightly dusty top edge. A novel of disillusionment, and an attempt to live a more balanced life.
