Translated from Spanish to English by Harriet de Onís and marketed as The Catholic Digest Book Club edition. Two volume set in sturdy cardboard slipcase. Slipcase displays average use related wear- divots and rubbing along edges. Front corners of slipcase have cardboard underlayer showing through. However, integrity and structure of slipcase remains uncompromised. Both volumes are cloth covered hardbacks, as per original printing/ manufacturing. All cloth covered boards are clean and sturdy. Spines are secure; wear correlates with age of book. Ends of spine and corners of boards feature negligible bending. Pages of both volumes are clean and unmarked. Post card from previous owner tucked into center pages of Vol. 1.
