Tel-Aviv, Israel, 1.1.65. 1 sheet lined paper, recto only, with typed, franked envelope. 8vo. Fine. 1 sheet lined paper, recto only, with typed, franked envelope. 8vo. A short but effusive note from former Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion (1886–1973), to Philip M. Neufeld (1905–1990), an New York City stockbroker, both to thank him for his earlier mid-December letter, and "from the bottom of my heart wish you full success in your efforts for Technion…," also known as the Israeli Institute of Technology. During the 1950s, a campaign was launched there to recruit funding and scientists from abroad to expand the university's teaching and research capabilities, and it is likely Neufeld had become involved in that endeavor. With the original typed and stamped envelope.
