A very good, handsome copy. 598pp. Internally clean. A very attractive and faithful reprinting from the original publishers of the 1895 edition. One of the first, and least ridiculous, Western works on Buddhism and the Lamas of Tibet, perhaps down to the fact that Waddell spent an appreciable time in Tibet, studying the complexities of Buddhism.
