Two octavo volumes. 596 & 625 pp., with running pagination along bottom edge and individual volumes with their own pagination along top. Bound in modern black cloth with gilt stamping to spine and new endpapers. Lacks volumes III and IV. Slightly ex-library with only markings being relatively faint "Mercantile Library Philadelphia" stamps to title pages. Touch of wear to edges and bindings sound. Chip to title page of volume II with tape repair; interiors else unmarked with only mild age-toning; overall a Very Good sturdy set of a scarce title.
