American photographer Richard Misrach's first major project undertaken in his mid-twenties, a photo-essay capturing the "defiant 'street people' culture in Berkeley" taken over the course of two years. Though primarily depicting its subjects in the streets, the portraits and scenes are also captured in parks, bedrooms, and coffeeshops around the area. Children and dogs abound.
