Upper cover has a a boy baby and boy toddler, while the lower cover has a girl baby and girl toddler (notice who gets the pink colored toy horse). Inside there are six leaves of outfit and accessories for the children. Single vol. (12.25" by 10.25"), 6 leaves in original illus. wrps. Great example of 1940s gender role - the girls are gentle, sweet and mothering; the boys rambunctious and carefree.
