Three (3) WWII-era match book covers promoting the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (W.A.A.C.) with an accompanying pocket guide to identifying different military ranks and insignias across the armed forces. Two of the match books show the W.A.A.C. seal, with the other depicting a young woman in the army saluting the viewer and promoting Queen brand sports wear. The verso includes a blank form to record your name and address, to receive information about the brand. Another cover doubles as a postcard on the verso, and the final matchbook cover has the message "Shhh The Enemy is Listening!" on the verso. Each matchbook measures approx. 4.5" by 3". The identification booklet promotes the jewelers and silversmiths S. and N. Katz, and serves as an illustrated pocket guide to different insignias and ranks in the armed forces. Single vol.
