A large illustrated circular promoting school, church, library, and bank furniture manufactured by Thomas Kane & Company, featuring a detailed wood engraved image of their factory in Racine, Wisconsin. Provides a window into the interiors of the past, and furniture that people would have encountered in their everyday lives: church pews, school desks, book cases, and bank counters and fittings, to name a few. Includes smaller wood engravings of some of these items on the verso of the print. Note the maps and anatomical figure prints that can roll down for classrooms, and the slate stone blackboard. Print measures approx. 14.75" by 16.25
