The bulk of this collection consists of 8 seasonal commemorations of the Circo Atayde Hermanos, published by the circus as advertisements for the following year. Included are the volumes from 1946, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1952, 1953, 1957, and 1958. Also included are the c.1958 20th anniversary commemoration of the Circo Union containing 2 inserts from other circus acts, and the Spanish language edition of the 1968 season of the Great Moscow Circus, or Gran Circo de Moscú. Each volume ranges from 6"x 9" to 9"x 12". All are full color on the covers with limited-palette pages, Spanish language, and very good condition. ~~Founded in 1888 by Don Aurelio Atayde and his brothers, The Circo Atayde Hermanos continues to operate in Mexico as a highly respected circus.
