The 1792 1st edition of this general work concerned with public and private buildings, and the architecture of beauty, symmetry and decorum. Handsome mid to late 19th century re-bind, in its laminate, decorative full-leather. Very light chipping at the top corner of the front free endpaper, small, neat former owner names to the blank verso of the title page and one light, neat former owner stamp along the lower-edge of the title page.
