Meine und Meiner Schuler Arbeiten 1898-1901 ("My Work and That of My Pupils 1898-1901")

Vienna, 1902. Decorative Cloth. Very Good. Uncommon 1902 monograph on Czech architect and interior designer Jan Kotera (1871-1923). Published simultaneously both in Vienna and in Prague (under the title 'Prace Me a Mych Zaku 1898-1901'). Appears to be very rare --not in BL (British Library) and no copies appear to have come to auction in the last 100 years. Solid and VG to VG+ in its Art Nouveau-decorated dark cloth. Very light fading to the panels, tender --but still perfectly sturdy-- front inner hinge. Suffused with lovely Decoish plates of Kotera's design work, a number of them splashed with color, and photographic representations of his architectural work during this 3 year period. Quarto, beautiful, firmly of-the-period, salmon pastedowns and endsheets.
