An unused copy of "The Trident Calendar for 1940", published for students at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, by the Trident Society. Each page in the calendar features a humorous cartoon, a quote from a famous or inspirational figure, and seven spaces for noting events and appointments throughout the week. There are events already printed, such as social events ("Officers' Hop") or athletics games ("Fencing" against "Virginia"). Approx. 53 leaves, unnumbered, secured with staples and red cloth tape at head. Each leave is perforated at the top. This copy is complete. Light fare that most likely didn't equip these young adults on what was to come after graduation.
