A clean, sharp copy of the uncommon 1948 2nd edition of this "Jewish" children's book, published by Bloch Publishing Company, "The Jewish Book Concern". About a little boy (Habibi) and his dog (Yow). Solid and VG to VG+ in its orange pictorial boards, with very light wear along the spine ends and the tips. Several charming children's pencil sketches along the rear blank endpapers. Quarto, nicely illustrated throughout by Althea O. Silverman, who contributed wonderful color endpapers as well.
